The former Raj Restaurant on Henderson Street is currently being refurbished after new tenants were secured in a deal brokered by Cornerstone.
The property firm sold the leasehold for an undisclosed sum on the basis of a £20,000 premium.
Owner Tommy Miah, who first brought the Raj Restaurant concept to Edinburgh in 1984, said Cornerstone’s marketing efforts allowed him “the luxury of choice when it came to selecting a tenant”.
Cornerstone’s Barry McNeil said: “We are pleased to confirm that refurbishment plans are already underway and we would like to wish the new tenants the very best in launching their business in one of the best trading locations in Leith.”
