A CONVERTED mill which has been trading as a pub and restaurant in the village of Killearn, north of Glasgow, has been bought by local operators Mark and Alice Silverwood.

The pair, who run the Inn at Kippen in Stirling, have taken over the lease at the Old Mill, which comprises a main bar, snug bar, 22-cover restaurant and beer garden with a capacity of 66.

The Old Mill was marketed by Seymour & Clink as a new ten-year lease, free of trade ties; offers over £25,000 were sought for the leasehold interest, with an asking rent of £45,000 per annum on a three-yearly rent review pattern.
