A HOTEL which occupies a prominent hillside position above the colourful houses of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull is up for sale.

The Western Isles Hotel is located in the former officers’ mess for the command ship HMS Western Isles during the Second World War.
The hotel now comprises 26 letting rooms, a drawing room dining room, two meeting rooms and a conservatory lounge bar offering views over Tobermory bay.
Owner’s accommodation at the hotel includes a three-room suite and a manager’s flat as well as a nine-bedroom staff annex.

The hotel’s conservatory bar offers views over Tobermory bay.

Alistair Letham, director with the selling agent Colliers International, said the hotel is a “well-established business with a good level of turnover from commercial trade and leisure destination custom over a long summer/holiday season”.
“The iconic landmark property, familiar to many, is a quintessential commercial lifestyle property,” said Letham.
“It offers new proprietors the opportunity to take over a well-known and existing business, in a beautiful part of Scotland, served by three ferry routes from the mainland.”
Colliers International is inviting offers over £700,000 plus VAT for the Western Isles Hotel.
