THREE wet-led pubs in the north of Scotland have come onto the books of property agent ASG Commercial.

The Union Tavern in Fortrose on the Black Isle, the Crown Bar in Wick and The George in Ardersier are each said to offer an “informal atmosphere to have a drink and chat in a relaxed ambience”.
The three pubs are said to be trading profitably, offering a mix of traditional pub entertainment including karaoke, quiz nights and games evenings.
There’s said to be scope to develop the three outlets through the introduction of a food offer.
Paul Hart, director of commercial sales at ASG, said there is “still a demand for this type of [wet led] business”.
“Wet and dry sales provide for an uncomplicated trading model and are often easy-to-operate businesses,” he said.
