MAXXIUM UK, the firm which distributes Jim Beam in the UK, has introduced a Rye variant of the American whiskey to its portfolio.

The 40% ABV Jim Beam Rye is now available from wholesalers to the on-trade.
Aged for four years in charred oak barrels, the rye whisky is copper in colour with tasting notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, apple and pepper with a “slightly sweet finish” on the palate.
Eileen Livingston, of Maxxium UK, said the demand for rye whiskey is “at a record high”.
“We feel that the time is right to fully introduce our very own Jim Beam Rye to the UK market,” she said.
“We have received considerable interest in our brand and are excited to introduce the trade and consumer to another member of the Jim Beam family.”
