THE Fairwinds Hotel and chalet complex in the village of Carrbridge near Aviemore has changed hands.

The business, which comprises a five-letting room hotel and six self-catering chalets, was acquired by buyers from south of the border in a deal brokered by ASG Commercial.
Jackie MacGregor, marketing director at the property firm, said the hotel attracted a high level of interest when it was on the market.
“This is the type of business we are finding to be popular: situated in a semi-rural location, and reliant not solely on the more demanding hotel income stream, but with chalets or self-catering accommodation affording a more pleasant lifestyle and source of income,” said MacGregor.
