AN award-winning gastropub in Ullapool has come onto the market.

Overlooking the harbour and Loch Broom, The Seaforth comprises a ground floor bar area, first floor bistro and whisky bar, roof terrace and an enclosed patio area, and can accommodate more than 300 covers. New owners will also take the reins of The Seaforth’s takeaway business, which is said to be “extremely popular” throughout the year.
Majoring in locally-sourced seafood, The Seaforth has won a clutch of awards, including best seafood bar of the year.
Christie & Co director Ken Sims, who is handling the sale, said the business is ideally placed to cater for ferry passengers at Ullapool, which is the main ferry terminal for Stornoway, Lewis and the Outer Hebrides.
“Making over £1.5 million, this is an excellent well-established business and offers excellent prospects for growth with an increased profitability,” said Sims.
