THE Best Western Buchanan Arms Hotel & Spa in Drymen has changed hands for an undisclosed sum.

The hotel was bought by Glasgow-based Nordfield Properties for close to the asking price of £3 million, in a deal negotiated by Colliers International.
Nordfield Properties is said to have already committed £100,000 of capital expenditure to the business with a target of raising the hotel’s rating to four stars.
“The new owners will be able to capitalise on the hotel’s already significant popularity and any development, whether through marketing or expansion, will be widely welcomed,” said Alistair Letham of Colliers International.
