SCOTTISH brewers punched above their weight at the recent International Beer Challenge in London.

A total of 18 medals were awarded to Scottish beers from the Arran Brewery, Belhaven, Cairngorm, Harviestoun, Innis & Gunn, Fyne Ales, Stewart Brewing and Marks and Spencer.
Harviestoun picked up Scotland’s only gold medals for its Harviestoun Ola Dubh 18 and Harviestoun Old Engine Oil, as well as Marks and Spencer’s own brand Scottish Craft Lager, which is brewed by Harviestoun.
Nine trophy winners for individual categories will be announced at a ceremony later in the year.
