THE firm behind ready-to-drink brand WKD has launched a new on-trade cocktail campaign.

The Pay Day promotion will see a range of four money-themed cocktails promoted at the end of each month in a bid to boost sales around pay day.
WKD owner SHS Drinks is supporting the initiative with a range of promotional giveaways and point of sale material in outlets, as well as a smartphone app which invites consumers to create their own cocktail recipes.
The activity will also include a cash prize competition running on social media.
Marketing director Debs Carter said the period around pay day allows WKD consumers to “let their hair down just a little without worrying quite so much about bills and other commitments”.
“Our Pay Day activities give outlets in Scotland the chance to drive sales and create a great atmosphere by helping customers celebrate their recent payslips,” she said.
