G1 Group, the Glasgow based bar, restaurant and nightclub operator, has secured gold Investors In People (IIP) status for the second time.
The firm, which employs 1900 staff across its 47 Scottish venues, first received the accreditation three years ago; it was awarded IIP gold status for a second time late last year following the re-accreditation process, in which assessors praised G1 for its investment in staff training and development.
“Our staff are at the very heart of everything we do and this achievement is a direct result of their hard work,” said G1 group operations director David McDowall. “Investing in our staff is central to the way we work and we will continue to make further improvements to our learning and development practices.”
