Hoteliers urged to improve connections

HOTELS across the UK could be losing business as a result of poor internet connectivity, according to one service provider.

James Pink, boss of telecommunications firm Pink Connect, said many accommodation businesses could be losing customers and subsequent repeat business as a result of inadequate connections.
He advised hoteliers to ensure their customers can connect to the internet whenever and wherever they are, claiming wi-fi is a key consideration for consumers when choosing where to stay.
“In today’s digital age, people need to be able to access information quickly so it’s more important than ever to ensure a strong, fast internet service for customers,” he said.
