Lawyer named rising star

LICENSING lawyer, and SLTN columnist, Stephen McGowan has been named Rising Star of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards.

McGowan, a director of the licensing and gambling team at Lindsays, was joined on the podium by colleague John Batters, who was shortlisted in the Specialist Lawyer of the Year category.
