Budvar ends yeast beer ‘rationing’

CZECH brewery Budweiser Budvar is to make its yeast beer available to the UK on a year-round basis, following demand from consumers and stockists.

Since its UK launch in 2009 the brew has been available on a limited basis due to its 28-day shelf life and requirement for intense cellar management. Now the brewer wants take it to “more outlets with the right cellar skills”.
