Set sail for Eyemouth hotel

NEW operators are sought for a hotel in a busy fishing port in south east Scotland.

Located at Eyemouth harbour, The Ship Hotel has six letting bedrooms (three en suite), a bar, 45-cover restaurant and first-floor function suite, which can accommodate 40. The hotel is currently run under management and is said to offer potential to grow both turnover and profit.
Barry McNeil, associate director at Christie & Co, which is marketing the leasehold at offers over £40,000, said the business offers an “excellent opportunity for a motivated hands-on owner”.
“The Ship Hotel is a solidly performing business, which enjoys a harbour-side location in a busy working area,” he said. “Eyemouth is still one of the busiest fishing ports in Scotland and is recognised as a diving centre throughout the UK.”
